US FDA Shutting Down Offshore Stem Cell Clinics
August 14, 2010 10:17 p.m. EST The Discover Magazine reports that a Costa Rica stem cell treatment center has been shut down by the Costa Rica?s health ministry most likely due to pressure from the United States FDA. Costa Rica?s Health Minister must be taking his information from the FDA since the FDA is the only government agency that believes using your own bodies cells is unsafe. This is utterly a false and misleading view and is costing lives, people are dying of these diseases every minute of the day.
The very fact that the FDA believes your own cells are harmful to you exemplifies the need to overhaul this agency that has gone completely off the deep end and is highly influenced by pharma executives. There is no truth to the position the FDA has taken on adult stem cells and they have no scientific proof that fetal tissue will not be rejected or will prove useless to cure diseases. The ugly truth is the FDA does not want to cure disease ? it wishes to postpone disease to help drug company?s sell more drugs to consumers of medicine.
Americans rights and freedoms are being directly affected by the FDA and people are not being given a choice in the matter.
The Food and Drug Administration seems to wrongly disapprove of adult stem cell treatments for some reason and it is favoring aborted fetus stem cell research instead. The FDA recently announced it is granting millions of dollars of taxpayers money to a pharmaceutical owned company called Geron.
Geron now receives all the research dollars from the US government under the guidance of the hapless and naive Obama administration. Scientifically or other wise, that adult stem cell research and treatments have a higher degree of favorable out come than fetus stem cell treatments which have the rejection factor for patients to deal with in their search for relief. Adult stem cells re-implanted into the body works and they have been proven to work very, very well. So well that the FDA fears it might even cure diseases that plague mankind and that is their whole reason behind banning this type of medicine.
Obama?s Executive order of March 2009 imply that all research was viable and he opened the doors to ?support science? not shut down clinics in Costa Rica or Denver Colorado. The FDA thinks the opposite of what the President decreed in his order which is not worthy of such a rebuke by a federal agency influenced by big drug company money. It appears no one is listening to what Obama says anymore since he has betrayed his own party on many instances and is allowing corporations to run his office.
The Clinic in Costa Rica was successfully doing the clinical research and treating patients with their own stem cells a procedure which is not harmful and not unsafe as the FDA is reporting it to be for ulterior motives.
This obstruction of health freedoms in the US and now Costa Rica originates from the political influences of the US government which has allied itself with corporate pharmas to corner the market on stem cell research and are shutting down the most successful of all SC research and that is Adult Stem Cells. Adult Stem Cells are unadulterated -cells extracted from one?s one body mainly the bone marrow stem cells which is the center of the human immune system. These cells are then multiplied into an army of millions of cells and reinjected back into the affected area or organ. What the FDA is doing is systematically shutting down all adult stem cell treatment clinics that oppose their views on where science and doctors are allowed to practice and they dictate the rules. This does not happen in China, India, Canada or other democratic nations that are speeding up stem cell research and are not delaying and directing funds to pharmaceutical company?s so they may profit from the research dollars. As the old saying goes ? Just follow the money trail?. The list goes on and on and other countries have been healing these diseases for years now while the US shuts down clinics proving the procedure works.
