For certain cancers, bone marrow transplant can be done.
Sometimes this is done with the patient's marrow, but often
it is done with a matched donor's marrow from a registry.

Since bone marrow is rich in stem cells, getting a bone marrow
transplant is the same (or better) than a stem cell treatment.
A bone marrow transplant contains much more quantity of marrow
than would be used for a stem cell treatment.

There would be no need to go to a stem cell clinic for this, although
as I said, getting a marrow transplant is the same thing as a stem cell
treatment. If done in your country, it would be covered by your health
care plan, where a stem cell treatment would usually not be.

Bone marrow has been shown to be effective in treating some malignant
tumors.

Your best bet would be to get a workup at a renowned cancer center, such
as MD Anderson Cancer Center here in Houston, Texas:
http://www.mdanderson.org/
to see if you would be a candidate for such a transplant.

There are cancer centers such as this all over the world.

If at that time you are told that bone marrow transplant would not be effective for your cancer,
it is unlikely that a stem cell treatment would be either.

I hope this helps you!
