This weekend, C-SPAN2 will devote an entire hour of airtime to healthcare freedom and the basic right of the terminally ill to try to save their own lives.

Darcy Olsen, President of the Goldwater Institute, will appear with Kimberly L. Leonard, healthcare correspondent for U.S. News and World Report, on CSPAN2’s After Words to discuss Darcy’s critically acclaimed new book, “The Right To Try: How the Federal Government Prevents Americans for Getting the Lifesaving Treatments They Need.”

The program will air on Saturday, December 26, at 10 p.m. Eastern time (7 p.m. Pacific). The show will appear again on Sunday, December 27, at noon and 9 p.m. (both Eastern times) and on Monday, December 28, at 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. (Eastern).

If you have a little extra time this holiday weekend, I hope you will watch as Darcy talks about the personal stories behind a national movement that is giving new hope to millions of Americans with a terminal disease.
