Quick update from Peru

Hello from Peru.

Frank had his first stem cell injection this afternoon. Everything went well and he has been sleeping since he got back from the OR. Tomorrow he will get the IV injection and Wednesday another spinal tap.

Wish we could stay here for a while. The weather is wonderful at 75 degrees, and the people here are charming.

We met with Dr. Feinerman today and talked with him for quite a while. He is a very caring man - so is his whole team.

We are keeping our fingers crossed now that the stem cells will go were they are intended to go and do what they are supposed to do.

Will post again soon.

How very nice to hear from you. I wish you could stay and rest up there as well. I wish the very best for Frank.

The name is stem cell regen med, headed by Dr. Feinerman.

Frank had suffered from fat embolism syndrome. After he broke his femur and tibia the bone marrow went into his lungs and brain, causing brain damage. The doctors explained it as Frank having many micro strokes throughout (mostly in the inner part of the brain).

We made it back last night.

Good to be back home.
