I have COPD and am looking into the stem cell therapy. I find the threads interesting to read. Am trying to get the $ for the treatment. My wife has me working on my breathing as we wait. To the few that have had the stem cell treatment is there anything you would recomend we do while we wait except continue to breath?

While you are waiting for your stem cells, I would purchase one of those lung exercisers such as a Power Lung or Expand-a-Lung and try to get some exercise even if it's walking only 20 feet at a time but doing it 10 times a day.

what is done

How is it done with the stem cell treatmeant. I know nothing about it. I just starting reading this forum and trying to understand. I had a lung transplant that is in chronic rejection, so I need some help quick, since they say this lung will only last a couple of years.

We are still watiing for an answer on the feasibility of stem cells for folks with lung transplants. We will let you know as soon as we find out.
