(Liver growth factor) Another horde of emphysema sick mice cured!!

Now, this time the newest potion of emphysema-cure is named: Liver growth factor. It seems not to be the same as the HGF Hepatocyte growth factor which also stems from the liver. HGF does also cure emphysema in mice, we already know that... But both seem to be slightly different growth factors. Also these are proteins and its very unlikely to buy them at the nearest pharmacy. But its good to see there is a alternative to stem cell treatments.

Also it cures emphysema AFTER the cigarette exposure has damaged the lungs. This time difference is very important. Because we need to find a cure to treat emphysema AFTER the damage is done to the lungs.

Also, this liver growth factor seems to cure or at least improve PULMONARY FIBROSIS.

Thanks Vancouverman - It is so frustrating to see this type of research done endlessly on rodents. GET ON WITH IT SOMEONE, ANYONE. Leave the mice be and get some clinical trials going for humans.
