I can't get the first link to work, however, if the drug has already proved to work for a certain kind of lung cancer, even if it is just in rodents, I would hope they would allow human volunteers to opt to try it as well.
The second story was pretty awesome. Israel is really coming through with some major breakthroughs. Funding must be a priority for something like this.
