Fresh evidence for HGF again !

Not only does the protein HGF "exterminate" the Fibrosis in the lungs, and reduce Emphysema and restore the lung function, we already knew that, but now it does also reduce pulmonary hypertension... Last but not least it does also improve the Asthma so that the people dont have asthma attacks that badly. It all is now scientifically evident.

we neeeed to inhale HGF in a labratory setting.:D

3 HGF acts as a safe and effective factor for
pulmonary hypertension

HGF has less side effects. It does not cause edema like
VEGF. In addition, HGF specifically supports growth in
epithelial and endothelial cells, but not in myofibroblasts,
which may be required for antifibrotic tissue repair and endo-
thelium protection in IPAH. These beneficial effects of HGF
reverse the key pathogenetic cascades for the development
of IPAH. Recently, we have performed a animal study to
investigate whether expression of HGF through the trans-
plantation of genetically modified MSCs could offer thera-
peutic benefit. Compared with PAH and MSCs groups, hemo-
dynamic parameters, vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation,
extracellular matrix, and vascular density were significantly
improved in HGF group.
In summary, although the effectiveness and safety of
HGF for IPHA is preliminary, further evaluations in clinical
trials are needed. We believe HGF therapy sheds light on
the development of new therapeutic modalities aimed at
treating patients with IPAH.

I did try inhaling it, but didn't find that I got as good a response as when it was injected. Good to hear of more scientific evidence.

Dear barbara,

that's good to hear...

but why are you not doing more HGF Treatments?

in those "animal testings" they did multiple treatments... of course we are not animals :) but their emphysema resolved.

I think one problem could be to get the same kind of HGF grade and quality that they used for their treatments..I think this is the biggest problem at all...

greetings

I think the quality and grade that I am taking is excellent, but it is expensive. I do what I can afford.

hi barb,

I know HGF is extremelly expensive :) Its an artificially made protein..

But a more cheaper and repeatable procedure could be, as I already described, to extract a very small amount of lung tissue, by routine bronchoscopy, and then get local pulmonary stem cell out of it, find and expand the proper adult stem cells in a lab, then do right application, i.e., per intravenously or per inhalation etc...store it in a lab, then do treatment multiple times, because then it should not cost a fortune anymore..

Are you, or one of your closer friends, going to do that kind of treatment?

That shouldnt be to expensive once you have expanded a good amount of the right stem cells and stored..

best greetings,
franz

Not planning on it Vancouverman. There isn't anywhere that I know of that I could get this type of treatment.

hello barbara,

yes I am aware of your problem. Maybe you could ask Dr. Feinman what he thinks about that approach. You can also show him the study they did with the sheeps where they improved their emphysema.

I think that he doesn't know about that emphysema-study yet.

best regards,
is the wildfire still burning?
