I have read through most of the material on Athersys Inc.'s website, and must say that I find it somewhat confusing as to their technology. It would appear to be cord blood based, but not 100% sure. They talk about their "product candidates", etc. one of which is the MultiStem which they are saying is "scalable" for use on many illnesses.

Anyone had any contact with this company?
