If we can just hold on I think there is going to be an "off the shelf" product from Osiris. According to previous reports from them, what works on hearts also works on lungs in their trials.
Only problem with hearts seems to be the time line between the heart attack and the SC implant. To get into a trial, you have to be sitting on their door step when you have the attack. As I have said before, the cardiologist that did my angioplasty said SCI is the only thing that would heal my heart. I am now at EF of 28%.

If a products goes to market, my Aetna Insurance said they would pay for it upon the request of my physician.
