Thank you everyone at stemcellpioneers.com for helping make this happen!
The bills now go to the full Senate, with UNANIMOUS passage by the Texas House and the Senate Health and Human Services committee.

Barbara so glad you were watching this happen and spreading the word too! You are the first person I ever talked to about stem cells!

This is one of the many stories behind the drive to get stem cell legislation HB810 passed in Texas. Stefanie Cowley testified and is at the Capitol today May 21th, along with other patient advocates urging their Senators to pass this. Stefanie was bed ridden for a year in severe pain from MS. Then she got adult stem cells, is pain free with more mobility and can now play with her son again. BUT she had to travel outside the U.S. This law would make it legal in Texas to receive this treatment.

Also, congrats to Sarah Hughes who married this weekend! All the work she and her mom Fiona did helped so much!

We will keep you posted as this moves to final passage by May 29th 2017.
