On Monday, October 20, Regenerative Medicine Solutions (RMS) is set to open its doors to two new clinics in Nashville, Tennessee. RMS welcomes the launch of an entirely new facility, the Sleep Apnea Institute, and the expansion of a new treatment center for the Lung Institute. The new centers will be marked by an official ribbon cutting ceremony from the medical staff, RMS corporate team, and members of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
With the introduction of the Sleep Apnea Institute to Nashville, the hope is to bring awareness to those individuals that suffer from sleep apnea: both diagnosed and undiagnosed. Currently, there are 22 million Americans that suffer from sleep apnea, with 80 percent being undiagnosed. The Sleep Apnea Institute treats patients through a specialized procedure known as radio frequency ablation.
With Nashville being a hub for medical technology, this was a prime location to expand the Lung Institute brand. After the current success of treating 400 patients at the clinic in Tampa, FL., the new expansion will bring stem cell treatments and innovative medicine to the Nashville area. Using stem cells from the patient’s own body, the Lung Institute treats lung diseases including pulmonary fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a progressive disease that causes difficulty breathing.
Jack Coleman, Jr, MD, is the medical director of the Sleep Apnea Institute and the Lung Institute in Nashville. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati as well as completed his internship and general surgery residency at the institution. Dr. Coleman is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and ensures that all treatments and staff will follow strict standards with the highest excellence in personalized patient care.
