I had an inquiry about Nova Stem Cells Institute. I have red flagged this clinic previously. http://stemcellpioneers.com/showthread.php?9236-My-red-flag-warning-for-Nova-Cells-Institute-of-Mexico I feel lucky to be alive after having a treatment from Abel Pena who runs the clinic with his wife Grace. AVOID THIS CLINIC is my advice. The risks are far too great.

I recently ran across this Yelp Review. I do not know dawn h. who posted it, but if anyone knows more about this incident, I hope they will come forward and let us hear about what happened.

I would be VERY wary of this clinic. Although based in the US, they perform treatments in Mexico where stem cell therapy is legal. Although I'm a firm believer in the power of stem cells and know first hand that there are safe offshore clinics that treat children, I have heard a first-hand horror story about this one. A little girl with spina bifida was badly injured during a procedure at this clinic and now has brain damage. Please do thorough research before going out of the USA to get stem cell treatment for your child and make sure you are going to a trusted clinic with a proven track record, preferably one affiliated with a US institution or University.

That is horrific. I’m glad to hear that you are okay and sounding the alarm on this clinic. It just goes to show you: the clinic does matter. That’s why I conducted a lot of research before finding a clinic to treat my mother. In the end, we went with Stem Cell of America and experienced great results. My mom responded better than expected to the treatment, with no real side effects at all. We are going again next year for a follow-up. You should consider them next time.
