This article talks about new findings that injected stem cells live only a number of hours, due to being out of the influence of blood vessel-forming cells. If these cells are used with the stem cells, however, they last for a few weeks!

It will be interesting to see if anyone else concurs with these findings. PRP is often used in conjunction with stem cell therapy to enhance the treatment, but this idea seems to go beyond that in its potential to make treatments even more viable.
