New clinical trial uses stem cells to restore mobility in stroke patients

A new clinical research trial is helping some stroke patients with limited mobility. While previous therapies focused on rehabilitation, the Pisces III trial is one of few to use a new drug product injecting lab-grown stem cells into brain tissue with the goal of regenerating and regrowing cells in damaged parts of the brain.
