FTA expanded Access For stem cell therapy

I am here in Cancun right now getting stem cell therapy for MS Which is a chronic condition. But if you have a life-threatening condition there is an FDA program That will allow you to get treatment in the US.

This has now been done by a Texas Cell bank. I saw the pictures of an 83 year old woman's legs who had peripheral arterial disease. The leg was exposed muscle and two months later after stem cell treatment the skin haood grown back over it. The doctors had been on the verge of amputation.

FDAs Expanded Access program. You must have a doctor willing to verify that:

- You must have a serious or immediately life-threatening disease or condition and no treatment options available to you. This is commonly done for experimental drugs but since the FDA has classified expanded stem cells as a drug This would work.

Here are the instructions
http://patientnetwork.fda.gov/about-us/frequently-asked-questions#expanded-access

this is just to get you an experimental therapy that you are willing to pay for, and your doctor feels will save your life.

Contact the cell bank to get them working with your doctor

Thanks SammyJo - Looks like a long list of hoops to jump through. Only the government could require so much from someone who is dying.

I hope your treatment goes very well and you will give us a report when you get home.
