Any alternative solution for hearing loss?

Recently I have diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss and my audiologist recommended advanced hearing aids for me. Actually, I hate hearing aids, I don’t want to let people know that I have hearing loss problem. So I am planning to purchase advanced invisible type hearing aids / custom ear molds from Westside audiology in Calgary ( http://www.westsideaudiology.com/hearing-aids/hearing-aid-styles/ ). Which type is better? It would be great if someone explains how to clean and maintain hearing aids. Does anyone here have gone for any alternative solutions for hearing loss? If yes, then please share your experience. Thank you in advance.

I have no knowledge of hearing aids. This forum is mainly for the discussion of stem cell therapies and research. So far, there has not been a lot of progress when it comes to restoring hearing using stem cells.
