    Default Confirmation from India

As mentioned on this thread, I have contacted India in regards to Dr. Shroff's clinic having published scientific research. I finally got an email. Folks stay away from this clinic, and please advise anyone that may be interested to stay away. I also want to mention that I gave Dr. Shroff a chance to response, and she has not. Here it is:

Sorry for the delayed response. I am not aware of any registration by Dr
Shroff or NuTech with appropriate Indian government agencies. You are
right to be skeptical, especially about human embryonic stem cell claims.
I would advise extreme caution with regards to any claims made by such
clinics as they have neither published their data, nor made the data
available to the research/clinical community for independent verification.
Regarding the regulatory situation-the 2007 guidelines are currently under
revision and the National Apex Committee on Stem Cell Research and Therapy
has been newly constituted and is putting in place a regulatory framework.
Currently there are no clinics either privately or govt funded which have
    been "certified".
I hope this addresses your questions. I am deeply sympathetic to your
personal stake in this matter, but must advise extreme caution in dealing
    with clinics providing unproven treatments.
I am ccing Prof Alok Srivastava, Chair of the NAC-SCRT.
    Best wishes

Note to viewers: My question to her will be very simple; prove us wrong and publish your process to make ESC safer? If not, at least show us any viable scientific published results from your patients.

Evidently India is in the same boat as the U.S. if no clinics have been "certified".
First treatment in 2007. Pioneering ever since.
